The Communist Party of China is the ruiling Left-wing political party in the Peoples Republic of China of a Single party totalitarian state. The Communist party historically was a radical Marxist Far-Left extreme anti-capitalist Maoist party. However since the 1980s and Reforms of Deng Xiapoing the party has adopted Socialism with Chinese characteristics as there official ideology which is far more moderate then the parties former Hard-core Marxist beliefs under Mao. Socialism with Chinese characteristics advocates introduction of a Market economy lead by Socialist policies and advocates a Mixed economy (a Mix of Capitalism and Communism a free market with a large public sector and large social saftey net).
